ERP Sales Consultant – Chennai

As we continue to expand our client base, we are seeking a highly skilled and motivated ERP Sales Consultant to join our dynamic team for Chennai Location.

Position Overview: As an ERP Sales Consultant, you will be responsible for driving revenue growth by actively promoting and selling our ERP solutions to potential clients. You will leverage your knowledge of ERP systems, industry expertise, and exceptional sales skills to identify and engage with key decision-makers within target organizations. Your primary objective will be to understand the unique business needs of prospective clients, demonstrate how our ERP solutions can address those needs, and close sales opportunities.

Responsibilities:

Identify and Prospect:

  • Conduct thorough market research to identify potential customers and target industries.
  • Utilize various channels (e.g., networking, cold calling, referrals) to generate a steady pipeline of qualified leads.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders.

Consultative Selling:

  • Understand prospective clients’ business challenges and requirements, and effectively communicate how our ERP solutions can address their specific needs.
  • Conduct product demonstrations and deliver compelling presentations to showcase the value and benefits of our ERP offerings.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including pre-sales engineers and consultants, to provide accurate and comprehensive solutions to prospective clients.

Sales Cycle Management:

  • Qualify leads and opportunities based on established criteria and prioritize efforts accordingly.
  • Develop and deliver persuasive sales proposals and negotiate contract terms.
  • Manage the end-to-end sales cycle, including lead generation, needs assessment, solution design, contract negotiation, and closing deals.

Relationship Building:

  • Cultivate and maintain long-term relationships with clients to drive customer satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, competitive landscape, and emerging technologies to effectively position our ERP solutions in the market.
  • Participate in industry events, conferences, and trade shows to promote our company and expand professional networks.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Proven track record of success in ERP or enterprise software sales, with a minimum of 2 years of experience.
  • Strong knowledge of ERP systems, including functionality, implementation processes, and industry best practices.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts in a clear and concise manner.
  • Demonstrated ability to build rapport, negotiate effectively, and close sales opportunities.
  • Self-motivated and target-driven, with a passion for exceeding sales goals.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills to understand client requirements and propose tailored solutions.
  • Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Willingness to travel as needed to meet with clients and attend industry events.
